Anupam Kher speaks on the success of Dhurandhar

Anupam Kher may not be a part of Dhurandhar, but he is very happy with the success of the film. Sharing a video on his X handle, he wrote, "I felt like expressing my happiness over the success of Dhurandhar in a candid manner. So I made this video. Although I have no direct connection with this film, but why Dhurandhar is a very important film and passion. How this film has inspired me to do good work. Anupam Kher calls Dhurandhar a landmark

In the 7 minute 43 second video, Anupam Kher calls Dhurandhar a landmark film and compares it to major films like Mughal-e-Azam, Saaransh, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and Khosla Ka Ghosla. He doesn't like Dhurandhar because it was made by a Kashmiri (Aditya Dhar), but because as a filmmaker, he doesn't follow any formula.

Anger expressed over the film being called propaganda

On calling the film propaganda, Anupam Kher said, "This proves that there was a group of people who were behind proving the film to be propaganda. This is the same group that tried to prove the film to be propaganda. They succeeded. This was the same group that tried to prove 'The Kashmir Files' to be propaganda. And I'd say 30% of them succeeded. They argued. But Dhurandhar has given a slap to such people. You don't decide what is propaganda. You don't make us feel small."
