However, the issue of actor Akshaye Khanna's exit from Drishyam 3 has become quite heated. The movie's director, Abhishek Pathak, has now opened up about this in a recent interview with E Times, stating:
“Everything was finalized, and he (Akshaye Khanna) really liked the script. The look and costumes for the role were finalized. But a day before Dhurandhar's release, he declined to do Drishyam 3. We also spoke with Ajay Devgn about this matter, and he said, 'You should decide what to do next, and it's a matter between me and the producers.'”
Based on the premise of the sequel, the story will continue from where it ended. Therefore, the characters' looks cannot be altered. Therefore, Akshay's demand for a hair wig was unnecessary. I challenge him to do a solo film in the future."
