Chinese hackers stole data of crores of Americans, President Trump and JD Vance also in trouble

American officials investigated it for about 1 year and now it has been confirmed. This cyber attack was so widespread that information of almost every American was stolen.

Not only this, information of US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance has also been stolen. Investigation has revealed that this hacking group named Salt Typhoon, sponsored by the Chinese government, hacked the systems of major telecom companies and this gave them access to people's networks.

China's intelligence agency can take advantage

US officials have warned that China's intelligence agency can exploit this data and track politicians, spies and activists. It is being told that this attack was carried out in October last year, when Donald Trump was the presidential candidate of the Republican Party.

Cynthia Kaiser, a former FBI official who investigated the case, said that this cyber attack was so widespread that I don't think any American would have survived it. It is being considered the biggest cyber attack till date. Experts have described it as a sign of China's cyber capabilities.

This cyber attack is linked to 3 Chinese tech firms. These firms work for the Chinese army and intelligence agencies. Investigators say that hackers were able to listen to people's phone calls, read texts and access files stored on the device.
