News Topical, Digital Desk : Police have busted a drug racket in a private school in Hyderabad. Police have arrested 3 people including the school director. All these accused were running illegal drug smuggling business under the guise of school.

Malela Jaya Prakash Goud, director of Medha School in Hyderabad, had declared the classrooms as restricted premises. Teachers were not allowed to enter this part of the school. This is where a drug called Alprazolam was prepared.

It is used for adulteration in toddy

Let us tell you that Alprazolam is a kind of narcotic substance, which is used to adulterate toddy. This drug is banned, despite this, the work of making Alprazolam was going on in full swing in Medha School.

Police exposed the truth

When the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) team of Telangana Police raided the school, 8 reactors and dryers were recovered from the chemistry lab. These were used to make drugs. Malela had learned the process of making drugs from his associate Guruvareddy. After making the drug in the school, it was supplied to toddy shops located in Mahbubnagar.

7 kg drugs and 21 lakh cash recovered

Police have found 7 kg of Alprazolam in the school. Apart from this, police have also recovered 21 lakh cash, raw chemicals for making drugs and drug making equipment. This illegal work has been going on for the last 6 months. Malela used to make drugs under the guise of school 6 days a week and on Sundays when the school was closed, the drugs were supplied.

How was the racket running?

Children's classes were held on the ground floor and first floor of the school. On the other hand, illegal drug manufacturing work was going on on the second floor. Police have arrested Malela and his two associates, who were helping Malala in manufacturing and supplying drugs.
