New Delhi: Oil marketing companies have revised the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders. With this, its effect is going to be seen on the common people as well. From today i.e. September 1, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder in Delhi has been increased by Rs 39. With this, the retail selling price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has now become Rs 1,691.50 from today. However, no change has been made in the prices of domestic cylinders.
New prices in different cities
Let us tell you that after the implementation of new prices, the commercial cylinder in Delhi has now become Rs 1691.50. At the same time, the new price in Kolkata is Rs 1802.50, the new price of commercial cylinder in Mumbai is Rs 1644 and the new price of commercial cylinder in Chennai from September 1 has become Rs 1855.
Aviation fuel cheaper by 4.6 percent
The price of aviation fuel was cut by 4.6 percent on Sunday. This step has been taken in line with the trend of oil prices in global markets. According to public sector retail fuel companies, the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) in the national capital Delhi has been cut by Rs 4,495.5 per kilolitre i.e. 4.58 percent. Fuel accounts for about 40 percent of the total operating cost of airline companies. In such a situation, the reduction in price will reduce the cost burden on these companies. Earlier, the prices were increased twice.
The price of aviation fuel was increased by 2 percent i.e. Rs 1,827.34 per kilolitre on August 1. Earlier, it was increased by 1.2 percent (Rs 1,179.37 per kilolitre). On June 1, the price of ATF was reduced by 6.5 percent (Rs 6,673.87 per kilolitre). After the reduction, the price of ATF in Mumbai has come down to Rs 87,432.78 per kilolitre, which was earlier Rs 91,650.34 per kilolitre. The price of ATF varies in different states due to local taxes.
The first price cut
Let us tell you that earlier on July 1, to provide relief to businesses and commercial enterprises, oil marketing companies had announced a cut in the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders. On July 1, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 30. After this, the retail selling price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi became Rs 1646. On June 1, the rate of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi was reduced by Rs 69.50, bringing the retail selling price to Rs 1676. Apart from this, there was a reduction of Rs 19 per cylinder on May 1, 2024.
The prices are revised every month
