News Topical, Digital Desk : Courts in 18 districts of Uttar Pradesh have been threatened with bombings, prompting district administrations to be put on alert. The emailed threats to bomb all court premises have caused widespread panic. Police and security forces have arrived at the scene and are conducting a thorough search operation. Bomb squad teams are conducting a thorough search of the entire premises.
According to information received so far, 18 district courts, including the capital Lucknow, Meerut, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Azamgarh, and Amroha, have received bomb threats via email. The email calls for explosions in the district courts at 12:15 pm. Police and court administrations were alerted upon receiving the information.
Police launched a massive search operation
Upon receiving information about the bomb threat, the police arrived at the scene. All court premises were immediately evacuated. Security was increased, and intensive checking was initiated. A bomb squad and dog squad also arrived and are scouring all court premises. Every inch of the premises is being searched.
The threat was given two days ago as well.

The receipt of such a threat today is deeply concerning. Security has been increased in the court premises following the information.
