News Topical, Digital Desk : A shameful scene unfolded in Bidar, Karnataka, when BJP and Congress MLAs clashed in front of a state minister. This incident occurred during a meeting of the Karnataka Development Program being held in the District Panchayat Hall.
The meeting was discussing forest land in the Humnabad assembly constituency. District in-charge Minister Ishwar Khandre, BJP MLA Siddu Patil, and Congress MLC Bhimrao Patil were present. The two leaders clashed over the issue of land ownership.
A scuffle broke out
An argument broke out between the two, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing the two leaders pointing fingers at each other and shouting. Shortly after the altercation, the Congress MLC rose from his chair and moved toward the BJP MLA, raising his hand to strike him.
But then a policeman stopped them. Others in the room also took control of the situation and pushed the two leaders apart. It is alleged that they exchanged verbal abuse, and the minister in charge then adjourned the meeting indefinitely.
