
News Topical, Digital Desk : A horrific road accident occurred on Friday (September 19, 2025) on National Highway 730 in Kushinagar's Ramkola Nagar Panchayat. A tractor trolley coming from Kaptanganj collided head-on with a bike. Both young men riding the bike were seriously injured. Police rushed the injured to the Central Health Center (CHC), where they were referred to the district hospital due to their critical condition. Both men died on the way. The incident has caused widespread disarray in their families.
According to reports, Raj Kushwaha, a resident of Ansuiya Mandir Urdaha, Ward No. 6, Ramkola Nagar, in the Ramkola police station area of Kushinagar, had left his maternal uncle's house in Hetimpur Shahdara Patti for his home. When he reached the Ramkola intersection, he met Kamal Rauniyar, a resident of the neighborhood. Both are reported to be 19 and 20 years old.
Bike rider hit by tractor-trolley
It was reported that the two were riding their bike together on their way home when the accident occurred about 200 meters away. It was reported that the bike riders collided head-on with a tractor trolley coming from Kaptanganj. The bike riders were injured in the accident.
The injured died on the way
Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and took both victims, both in critical condition, to the Central Health Center for treatment. Given their critical condition, they were referred to the district hospital, where they died on the way. Police took possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination. They also seized the tractor trolley and parked it at the police station.
'The family did not give a written complaint'
Meanwhile, Ramkola SHO Raj Prakash Singh stated that both bodies have been sent for post-mortem. A complaint has not yet been received from the family. As soon as a complaint is received, a case will be filed and further action will be taken. Upon learning of the accident, the family members arrived at the scene in tears.
