Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal said, "This is an internal matter within Lalu Yadav's family, but I would certainly request that the family should not be torn apart. It is not right for a family to be torn apart because of one person."
BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal added, "Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi need to save this family. Since this is a family matter, it is not appropriate to comment further."

Rohini announced on the social media platform Instagram that she was severing ties with the party and her family. The results of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections were declared on November 14. The Grand Alliance suffered a defeat, with the RJD's tally being reduced to 25 seats.
