Lucy took admission in Carnegie Mellon University to study computer science, but she got the Thiel Fellowship of $100,000 in 2014. This fellowship inspires young entrepreneurs to start their own company instead of going to college. After this, Lucy left college.

 

Gained fame by making passes

  • Lucy also worked at Facebook and Snapchat. She became a part of Quora, where she met Alexander Wang. The two together founded Scale AI in 2016. Lucy was just 21 years old at that time. But after two years, there was a rift between the two and Lucy left the company.
  • He had 5 percent shares of Scale AI, which he never sold. These shares have the biggest share in Lucy's net worth. After Scale AI, Lucy launched Backend Capital and Passes. Passes is actually a family-friendly alternative to OnlyFans, which helps creators connect with their fans. However, it is facing legal lawsuits.
