News Topical, Digital Desk : Television actor Gaurav Khanna has won the title of Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss Season 19. While some praised him for playing the game with dignity, others called it a fix and claimed that he was deliberately made to win because he was the face of Colors. Claims circulated on social media that Gaurav Khanna, a former face of Colors, won Bigg Boss . Now, the Anupama star has shared his reaction to these claims.
Gaurav Khanna got angry over the allegation
The Bigg Boss 19 finale took place in December, and the top two finalists were Gaurav and Farhana Bhatt. After winning the show, Gaurav and the makers faced a lot of criticism. Now, in an interview with Faridoon Shahryar, Gaurav Khanna has expressed his anger over claims of a fixed winner. He said, “People say I won because I'm famous, but I really worked hard.”
15 years ago he was the face of Colors
Gaurav Khanna further said, “Twenty years of hard work is no small thing. I haven't been the face of Colors for the last 15 years. My last show on Colors TV was 'Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam' with Yami Gautam, which aired in 2010. If in 2025 people still think I'm the face of Colors after doing just one show with them 15 years ago, then I'd be really proud. Nothing comes for free. I won't win a show just because of my background or work; I have to perform well in it.”
Gaurav Khanna reveals what Bigg Boss 19 taught him. The actor said, "I didn't go there to compete with others. Having been a part of television for so many years, I know that on Bigg Boss, people will target you, embarrass you, defame you, and try to bring you down. But my whole goal was to become a better person. My life is the result of my decisions. Bigg Boss is a very intelligent game, if you play it wisely. I kept this in mind from day one. I wasn't there to please those 15-16 people."
