A few days ago, the list of films nominated for the 2026 BAFTA Awards was released, and now the list of award presenters has also been revealed, which includes  Hindi cinema's leading lady superstar Alia Bhatt .

The winners of the 2026 BAFTA Awards will be announced on February 22nd. The British Film Academy is fully preparing for this. On Tuesday, BAFTA released the list of award presenters, with Alia Bhatt as the only Indian celebrity present. Besides her, major Hollywood superstars will also be present at the BAFTA Awards this year as award presenters. Their names are as follows:

Jordan, Miles Catton, Millie Alcock, Minnie Driver, Monica Bellucci, Sadie Sink and Riz Ahmed. 

It's worth noting that before Alia Bhatt, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone also served as an award presenter at the BAFTA Awards ceremony in 2024. Furthermore, Alia Bhatt's upcoming film, Love and War, is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. 

This Indian film was nominated in BAFTA

The Indian film nominated for the 79th edition of the BAFTA International Film Awards is titled Boong. The film, slated for release in 2024, is directed by Laxmipriya Devi and produced by Farhan Akhtar. This Manipuri-language drama film has been nominated for the Best Children's & Family Film category at the 2026 BAFTA Awards.
