The incident, in which a young woman was gang-raped in a moving car on the pretext of giving her a lift, has sent shockwaves throughout the district. Acting swiftly on the victim's complaint, the police arrested both accused and sent them to jail.

This incident occurred in the Transit Camp police station area of Rudrapur. In her complaint to the police, the victim stated that she was standing on the roadside, about to leave for work. Two young men arrived in a car and, promising to drop her off at the company, lured her into their car. She was assured that she would be safely taken to her workplace.

According to the victim, instead of taking her to the company, the accused drove her around and then gang-raped her in the moving car. After the incident, the accused left the woman in the Sidcul area and fled the scene. The victim, demonstrating courage, contacted the police and reported the incident.

A case was immediately registered on the basis of the complaint of the victim.

Upon receiving the information, the police department was shaken. Based on the victim's complaint, the Transit Camp Kotwali police immediately registered a case and began an investigation. Given the seriousness of the matter, senior police officers personally supervised the investigation. Acting swiftly, the police team arrested both accused, Rahul Das and Furkan. The car used in the incident has also been recovered.

Regarding this incident, SSP Udham Singh Nagar Manikant Mishra stated that a case was immediately registered based on the victim's complaint. The police team acted swiftly and arrested both accused. They were presented in court and sent to jail. Further legal action is underway in this case. Currently, the police are engaged in a thorough investigation. This incident has once again raised serious questions about women's safety and highlighted the need for social vigilance and strict enforcement of the law.
