The incident was captured in CCTV. This incident took place on Sunday evening in Sari Layout of Mailasandra in Anekal taluk in Bengaluru rural area where the woman was molested and beaten on the road in broad daylight. After this incident, two separate cases have been registered at the Bannerghatta police station.

Drunken youths molested

According to the information, the girl was going to buy groceries at around 4 pm on Sunday evening. Then a group of 4 to 5 people, who were allegedly intoxicated by ganja and paint solvent, blocked her way. The accused tried to touch her forcibly and made obscene gestures. When the victim protested, she was beaten up.

The girl entered the house to save her life, the young man also reached there

The victim somehow escaped from there with the help of local people and reached her home. But after this the accused reached outside her house. They forcibly tried to enter the house and created a ruckus in the locality. These drunk miscreants also attacked the local people who came forward to help the victim. This entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby.

People who came to save the girl were beaten up

The girl said that I was going to the grocery store when I saw 4-5 boys fighting. They came near me and tried to touch me and spoke dirty things. They were completely drunk. They had smoked ganja. When I protested, they hit me. I also kicked to save myself. People around helped me, but those boys beat up people as well. After this, I ran to my house nearby, but they came till my house. The accused are residents of the nearby area. All this happened only because they were drunk and wanted to harass a girl who was alone on the road.

Police arrested one accused

According to the police, the main accused got injured in this fight. After this, he was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Bangalore Rural SP said that the main accused admitted to the hospital in this case has been arrested. His other accomplices are being searched. Also, on the complaint of the main accused's family, a case has been registered against the victim's gym trainer friend.
