News Topical, Digital Desk : It is said that if a film director knows the pulse of his audience, then no one can stop his films from becoming a hit at the box office. Mohit Suri has done something similar, he has also included the name of 'Saiyaara' in the list of his successful films. On one hand, where Bollywood's big budget films from 'Sikander' to 'Housefull 5' and Sitare Zameen Par have failed to pull the audience to the theatre, Ahan Pandey and Anit Padda's film has created a stir at the box office.

The special thing about 'Saiyaara'  is that the figures of this film have not been exaggerated by the makers, but all are organic. Whoever is coming out of the theatre after watching the film is praising it. This is the reason why the film crossed the 83 crore mark in the first weekend itself and joined the 100 crore club by Monday. After Chhava, this is the second film of the year for which the audience has a different craze. Why this film of a debut star has become a box office sensation, let's know some reasons in detail.

Romance is back in Bollywood

No matter how many action, horror comedy films are made today, the core of Hindi films has always been romance. Yash Raj has given many passionate love stories like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Silsila to the Hindi audience. Romance has always worked in Bollywood films, whether you talk about Rishi Kapoor's film Bobby, Anu Agarwal's 'Aashiqui' or Shahid Kapoor's 'Kabir Singh' and Ranbir Kapoor's Rockstar. Whatever efforts the heroes have made for love in Bollywood films, the same emotion has been revived by Saiyara. The intense love story between the hero and heroine in this brought the audience to the theatre and the film earned well at the box office.

Yash Raj did marketing without any noise

Nowadays actors start promoting their movie months before its release, due to which the audience gets the idea that the movie might not have that spark. On the contrary, Yash Raj did nothing like this. Neither did they go on a city tour nor did they promote it by going to any show. They marketed the movie only on social media and that too with teaser-trailer and songs. The most special thing is that apart from Mohit Suri, no one came out and talked about the movie. The actors staying hidden also benefited the movie.

Released on fewer screens

It is said that if the story is good, even one screen is enough to attract the audience, this is the strategy adopted by Mohit Suri and Yashraj. While the films Housefull 5 and Sitare Zameen Par were released on more than 3000 screens in single and multiplexes, 'Saiyaara' was released on only 1750 screens, which worked in the favor of the makers.

Gen-Z has found a new crush in Hindi films

You cannot ignore the fact that no matter how many action stars like Allu Arjun and Ram Charan come in Indian cinema, the fans' search for a chocolate boy never ends. Stars like Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have been tagged as Bollywood's chocolate boy from time to time. Now this lover boy tag has gone to Ahaan Pandey, who is Gen-Z's new crush. Compared to Ibrahim Ali Khan and Aryan Khan, Ahaan Pandey became Gen-Z's new crush because people saw him directly on screen and not on social media.

Mohit Suri's style of storytelling

Many makers in the industry make love stories, but Mohit Suri's style is really difficult to imitate. People have not yet forgotten Arohi and Rahul's 'Aashiqui' that Mohit Suri presented the heart-wrenching story of Krish and Vaani in front of the people. The reason why people like the stories of Mohit Suri's films is that it keeps people close to reality. While many makers tell love stories in films as fairytales, Mohit Suri connects people with the fact that not every love reaches its destination.

saiyraa songs heart touching

He gets very upset with the trend of remixing old songs and presenting them to the audience these days. However, the songs of Saiyyara are not like that. He chose people like Mithun, Sachet-Parampara, Vishal Mishra, Faheem Abdullah and Tanishk Bagchi, who are famous for soulful songs, to create the songs for Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda's film. People are liking the songs of the movie very much.

The Legacy of Yash Raj

Aditya Chopra may be building his own universe with action films like Dhoom and movies like Tiger 3 and War 2, but romance is in Yash Raj's DNA. From Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi to Band Baaja Baaraat, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai and Veer-Zaara, he has given memorable films. Till date, Yash Chopra has taught people the most beautiful definition of romance and 'Saiyaara' has once again proved that no one can match Yash Raj's hand in romance.
