Rebuilding will take a long time

Officials said the cause of the fire was under investigation. Experts are looking at factors such as faulty electrical wiring, the use of incense burners or defects in the old wooden structure.

The reconstruction work will be a long one, but the government and the Heritage Conservation Department have promised that the temple will be rebuilt while maintaining its historical and cultural identity.
