New Delhi: Israel Hamas War,  The Israeli army has killed Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar . The Israeli army killed Yahya Sinwar in Rafah on 16 October.

Israel claims that Sinwar was the mastermind of the attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists on October 7 last year. Meanwhile, the IDF has released footage of Sinwar from its official X handle.

Sinwar is seen with his child and wife in the tunnel

In the footage, Haniya is seen coming out of the tunnel with her family. The footage is said to be of 7 October 2023. Hamas attacked Israel on that very night. The IDF claims that Sinwar was hiding in this tunnel on the night of 7 October. Sinwar's wife and children are seen in the footage. Sinwar is seen carrying pillows, mattresses and television sets into the tunnel.

Sinwar had collected essential items in the tunnel

IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said the tunnel was located beneath the family's home in Khan Younis. Before October 7, Sinwar was planning to keep his family safe. Before the night of October 7, Sinwar hid in the tunnel with his family. Sinwar had arranged some essential items in the tunnel to stay there for a long time.

The IDF said that before the massacre in Israel, Sinwar was only concerned about his family. At the same time, he had sent terrorists to kill and commit atrocities against children, elderly and women in Israel. 

Sinwar's death will make us stronger: Hamas  

Hamas has described Yahma Sinwar's death as martyrdom. After Sinwar's death, Khalil al-Hayya has been made the head of Hamas. After Sinwar's death, he said that Sinwar's death will "give us more strength."

Khalil al-Hayya TV said in a statement that Israeli prisoners captured during the October 7 Israeli attack would not be released until the "attacks on Gaza" stop and Israeli forces leave Gaza.
