Women Wear Blue Diamond Worth 100 Million Dollar: Dubai is famous for the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa and the 7-star hotel Burj Al Arab. However, there are many other things that make Dubai special. One of them is diamonds. A rare exhibition of diamonds held recently in Abu Dhabi proved that this region has become the center of the world's most precious things.

A total of 8 unique diamonds have been put on display in the exhibition organized by Sotheby's, whose total weight is more than 700 carats. These diamonds include red, pink, yellow and colorless diamonds, but the diamond that caught everyone's attention was a rare 10-carat blue diamond from South Africa. It is considered to be one of the most important blue diamonds ever. Its price can go up to $20 million (about ₹ 165 crores) in the auction to be held in May. Its beauty has mesmerized experts and collectors.

Who is Katia Nounou Boise?
The special blue diamond was worn by Katia Nounou Boise, Deputy Chairman of Sotheby's Middle East Dubai, who became the main attraction of the event. Katia Nounou Boise has been associated with Sotheby's since 2008. She first came to Dubai in 2015 and established the Sotheby's UAE office. She graduated in French literature from University College London. She played an important role in making Dubai a new center of the art world. Her appearance and the way she wore the blue diamond was so attractive that it started being discussed on social media and international media as well.

Dubai's passion for diamonds
According to Sotheby's Jewellery Chief Quig Bruning, Abu Dhabi was chosen for this exhibition because there is a deep understanding and passion for diamonds here. This is a region where both diamond businessmen and collectors are present. There is a good presence of international brands and investors in Dubai.

Sotheby's strategy and auction preparation
Sotheby's aims to sell this unique blue diamond for more than $20 million in the auction in May 2025. For this, they are contacting potential buyers from the Middle East, Europe and America.
