Trent, a Tata Group company dealing in fashion and lifestyle, is in focus today. This stock is witnessing a rise during the early trading. In fact, global brokerage firm Citi has issued a note on this stock today. In this note, the brokerage firm has set a big target price with a Buy opinion on Trent. This target price for Trent shares is ₹9250 per share. If we look at the closing price of Wednesday, the stock is expected to rise by up to 21%.

 

Citi has said in this note that Trent is rapidly outpacing other companies in the segment. The company has adopted multi-format from single format, due to which the income has grown at 36% CAGR during the financial year 2019 to 2024. The company is adopting multi-categories like fashion, lifestyle, grocery and personal care. After this, if we talk about income, operating profit and profit, then it can grow at 41%, 44% and 56% CAGR respectively during the financial year 2024 to 2027.

What is the future outlook?
Based on supply chain leverage as well as learnings from Westside and Zudio, Trent is now emerging as a star brand. According to Citi, the company has the possibility of expanding pilot projects. These pilot projects include MISBU, Samoh and MAS JV. Citi has placed this stock at the top of the list of Indian Consumer Discretionary and Retail Coverage. Also, it has been said that this stock is also included in their Pan-Asia High-Conviction List. What could be the risk for the stock? The brokerage firm said that the slow pace of opening new stores of Zudio could be a risk. Apart from this, competition and limited success in new formats can also be seen as a risk. Recently, this stock of Tata Group was included in Nifty50. Most analysts are bullish Trent. 21 analysts track it, out of which 4 have given Sell opinion on the stock. Whereas, 13 analysts have given Buy opinion on Trent. Only 4 analysts have given the opinion of Holding the stock. Let us tell you that this stock has shown a rise of 154% so far this year. During the last one year, this stock has seen a rise of more than 250%.
