Weather Update: Monsoon has knocked in the entire North India including the national capital Delhi. People are enjoying the monsoon rain. At the same time, rain has taken a terrible form in many places. One day's rain in Uttarakhand has caused flood-like conditions in Haridwar and Rishikesh.
At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain in Delhi-NCR as well as Uttarakhand today. Apart from Delhi, Bihar, Sikkim, Assam, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Telangana, interior Karnataka, Kerala and Himachal Pradesh may receive light to moderate rain with heavy rain at some places.

Heavy rain alert issued in many districts of UP

Five people died in incidents of lightning in Gorakhpur, Deoria and Sant Kabir Nagar. 22 people got burnt. The weather department has issued a forecast of heavy rain for today as well.
There will be rain with thunder and lightning in Bihar for the next three days
Monsoon is active in entire Bihar including the capital Patna. People have got relief from rain in Patna and surrounding areas on Sunday morning. 7.8 mm rainfall was recorded in Patna. According to the Meteorological Center, a cyclonic circulation area is formed over Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Due to its effect, a warning (Heavy Rainfall Alert) has been issued regarding heavy and very heavy rainfall with thunderstorms in different parts of the state including the capital during the next three days.
Orange alert issued in Uttarakhand-Himachal
Some areas of Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar received rain on Sunday. An orange alert for heavy rain has been issued for Dehradun, Pauri, Haridwar, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar on Monday. An orange alert for thunderstorm, lightning and heavy rain has been issued for three districts of Himachal Pradesh, Bilaspur, Solan and Sirmaur.
