Manama. Yemen's Houthi militants have targeted two ships in the Gulf of Aden. The US military's Central Command said an anti-ship ballistic cruise missile struck the Antigua and Barbuda-flagged cargo ship Northern Forward Station late Saturday night. It caught fire. However, it was soon brought under control. A second anti-ship cruise missile also attacked Northern.

The Houthi spokesman claimed in a recorded video message that the ship was targeted by both missiles and drones. In the second attack, a Houthi ballistic missile hit the Liberian-flagged Swiss-owned container ship Tavishi in the Gulf of Aden off Central Command.

The attack happened in the Arabian Sea – Houthi terrorists claim

Houthi terrorists have claimed that the attack took place in the Arabian Sea, but have not provided any evidence of this. Tracking data has shown that Tavishi was in the Gulf of Aden at the time of the attack. A Houthi spokesperson has said that they have also attacked a warship. No evidence has been provided for this.

Houthi terrorists are targeting ships in the Red Sea

It is noteworthy that Houthi terrorists have been targeting ships in the Red Sea since the Israel-Hamas war began. They say that the purpose of the attacks is to stop the war and support the Palestinians. However, attacks have often been carried out on ships that have nothing to do with the conflict.
