This slogan has been described as 'public mandate'.

After putting up hoardings and posters at various crossings and roads including Golghar of the city, BJP Yuva Morcha official and Digvijaynath PG College student union president Abhay Singh has called it a mandate. He said that the people have accepted 'If we divide, we will be cut' and 'If we stay united, we will be safe'. He has said that whatever was there apart from this was just a slogan.
