The Israeli army foiled Iran's intentions inside Syria. Iran was manufacturing missiles in a factory at Syrian military bases, when the Israeli army destroyed it. The Israeli army admitted for the first time that in September last year, about 100 of its soldiers had destroyed the underground missile factory.

Commandos from the elite Shaldag unit raided the Scientific Studies and Research Center in the Syrian city of Masyaf on September 8. Weapons were being produced at this place, which was destroyed by the army.

The IDF said,

These missiles were produced for Hezbollah

The Israeli military said the factory produced M600F missiles with a range of 250-300 kilometers, precision M302 missiles with a range of 130 kilometers, M220 missiles with a range of 70 kilometers and truck-launched M122 rockets with a range of 40 kilometers. These missiles were to be used by Hezbollah.

Chemical weapons were also being produced

Let us tell you that it was also revealed that biological and chemical weapons were also being produced at these military bases. Israeli commandos brought back many weapons and intelligence documents to Israel for further investigation.

Let us tell you that the Iran-backed Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad was overthrown in December. The fall of Damascus prompted waves of Israeli air strikes on Syrian and Iranian military assets to prevent them from falling into the hands of Islamist insurgents.
