
News Topical, Digital Desk : National Conference chief and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah said that Jinnah sahab (Mohammad Ali Jinnah) thought that Kashmir is a Muslim country and will go with us. Jinnah thought that Kashmir will not go anywhere else. He said that today if a Muslim's blood is shed then no one cares but if a Hindu's blood is shed then they will say oh this is blood. The whole country will stand up.
What did he say while referring to the British?
Farooq Abdullah further said, “This is what the British did at that time. If there is a Hindu king and the people are mostly Muslims, then the people have their say as to where they want to go. Like it happened in Junagadh. Like it happened in Hyderabad.”
People chose the government but the power is with LG- Farooq
The National Conference chief said what happened to those who joined hands with this country? Farooq Abdullah said, “We feel sad that we joined hands with a country which has no love for us. There is no love, no thinking. Today people have chosen the government (in Jammu and Kashmir) but who has the power? The Lieutenant Governor has it.”

On the decision to ban 25 books on Jammu and Kashmir, he said, "They used to talk about the history of Kashmir. They cannot tolerate this either." The former CM said this at the launch of the book "The Lion of Nowshera" co-written by Zia Us Salam and Anand Mishra in Delhi.
