People complained on social media that they were stuck in the traffic jam for hours. Actually, people have come out of their homes to shop for Raksha Bandhan. There is a lot of activity in the markets of the capital Delhi, but the condition of traffic on the roads became bad on Thursday (8 August) evening.

At the same time, people are also returning to their homes from their offices. In such a situation, queues of vehicles can be clearly seen on the roads. A user wrote on X that the Outer Ring Road is jammed. The map shows that it will take one hour to cover a distance of seven km. He even said that there is no officer to manage the traffic. On this, Delhi Traffic Police said that the area traffic inspector has been informed. 

Another user wrote that there is a huge traffic jam on Hastasal Village Road. Emergency vehicles are also stuck in the traffic. A person wrote that there is a huge jam outside Jesus Mary College at the T point of Manas Marg.

The traffic police replied to some people and gave phone numbers to contact on. Another user wrote, "I am stuck in a jam near Dharmshil Hospital on Ghazipur Road for more than an hour."

Let us tell you that Raksha Bandhan festival is on 9th August. In such a situation, people living around Delhi are also returning to their homes, the effect of which was also seen on the traffic.
