Two wagons of a goods train carrying diesel derailed on Thursday night at around 9:40 pm in Ghatla area on the down line of Delhi-Mumbai railway line in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. Local people also reached the spot as soon as they got the information about the derailment of the diesel train.
These people had come to fill diesel stored in the drain near the railway line. The video of people filling diesel from the drain is viral on social media. In the viral video, people are taking out diesel from the drain near the track. People have plastic cans and buckets in their hands. Women and elderly people have also come to collect diesel. However, the diesel is not pure. Drain water is also mixed in it. Despite this, people are filling cans with it and going to their homes.

After the accident, the railway administration immediately cut off the other coaches of the goods train. After this, the goods train was sent to Mangrol IOC terminal. Accident relief train was also immediately dispatched to the spot. After a lot of hard work, the coaches were brought back on track. Relief work was going on till 11 pm on Thursday night. During this time, the operation of trains was also affected. The goods train was going from Rajkot in Gujarat to Bakaniya near Bhopal.
