News Topical, Digital Desk : As winter approaches across North India, including Delhi-NCR, temperatures are showing signs of rising daily. Amidst these signs, the Meteorological Department has issued a storm and rain alert for Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab.

According to the Meteorological Department, the hilly areas may experience some leveling off in the next 24 hours. Furthermore, the weather may deteriorate in several states from February 13th to 19th.

Regarding Delhi-NCR, the sky is expected to remain cloudy. Due to the clouds, a slight chill may be felt in the morning and evening. A warning has also been issued for thunderstorms and rain after February 15th.

How will the weather be in UP and Bihar?

In Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the weather is expected to remain clear. According to the Meteorological Department, light fog is possible in Agra, Aligarh, Meerut, Azamgarh, Lucknow, Bareilly, Etah, Fatehpur, Gautam Nagar, Ghaziabad, and Hathras. However, Patna, Gaya, Champaran, Bhojpur, Madhubani, and Purnia will remain cloudy.

Weather conditions in the mountains

In the mountains, Uttarakhand is expected to experience heavy rain and strong winds on February 16-17, particularly in the Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, and Pauri Garhwal districts. In Himachal Pradesh, the weather will be clear today, but cloudy conditions will develop from February 15 onwards, and a warning has been issued for strong winds and snowfall in the higher elevations.
