Lucknow News: Police have arrested two women smugglers at Gomti Nagar railway station in Lucknow, UP. 11 kg of hashish has been recovered from them. Its price in the international market is said to be Rs 5.5 crore. Both the women are residents of Bihar. This arrest has been made in an operation by a joint team of NCB and RPF. 

The NCB or Narcotics Control Bureau team had received input from intelligence, acting on which, the team took major action and arrested both the women. The NCB had received information that two women smugglers were travelling in train number 19038 Avadh Express, who were smuggling a large amount of hashish. After this, the team started searching for the two suspicious women. 

Charas worth Rs 5.5 crore recovered
Avadh Express train reached Budhwal station at 11:10 pm. Here a search was conducted in the women's coach near the Divyangjan coach. After which the actions of these women were found suspicious. When the NCB team questioned them, they got nervous, after which the police searched them and 22 packets of hash were recovered from the luggage of the women. Whose total weight was 11 kg. 
 
After which the NCB team detained both the women from the train at 12:38 pm at Gomti Nagar station in Lucknow. The women caught are residents of Majhauliya police station area of ​​​​West Champaran district of Bihar. The price of the hash recovered from them is being told to be around Rs 5.5 crore in the international market.   
 
The NCB team recovered a total of 22 packets of hash in the luggage of the women. Whose total weight was 11 kg. NCB immediately seized it and started legal action against both the women. Giving information about this, NCB officer Prashant Singh Yadav said that this action was taken with the help of women staff. The arrest of women is a big success for NCB.
