New Delhi: Singapore's High Commissioner to India Simon Wong has strongly backed India's future prospects, saying this is indeed India's century. His statement came after President Draupadi Murmu addressed a joint session of Parliament.

He also expressed hope about the future of bilateral relations between India and Singapore. Representatives from various countries reached the Parliament before the President's address in the joint session of both the Houses. Apart from the High Commissioner of Singapore, Israeli Ambassador to India Naor Gilon and envoys of other countries were also present.

Strong diplomatic relations between India and Singapore

The Singapore High Commissioner attended the session with his delegation and shared moments captured inside the Parliament complex. He also shared selfies with his fellow diplomats. India and Singapore have strong diplomatic ties, marked by cooperation in various fields, including trade, defence and technology.
