Cancer is a fatal and life-threatening disease. It is believed that if the symptoms of cancer are detected in the beginning, then treatment can be done at the right time. If this disease is detected late, then death has also been seen in many cases. Recent research has shown that the cooking oil present in our kitchen is increasing the risk of cancer.

 

This research published in a medical journal called Gut shows that some oils used in cooking, especially seed oil, are promoting diseases like cancer (Cooking Oil Causes Colon Cancer). These include sunflower, grape seed, canola and corn oil, due to which the risk of cancer (Cooking Oil Health Risks) is continuously increasing. This research was done on 80 colon cancer patients.

 

Researchers examined 81 cancer tumor samples

These patients were found to have high levels of bioactive lipids. These are formed by the breakdown of seed oil. 81 cancer tumor samples of these patients between the ages of 30 and 85 were examined. The research revealed that the high levels of lipids found in cancerous tumors were due to seed oil. Previous research had already revealed that seed oil can cause inflammation in the body.

 

Bioactive lipids promote cancer

However, new research has found that bioactive lipids formed by the breakdown of seed oil not only increase colon cancer rapidly but also prevent the body from fighting tumors. Let us tell you that omega-6 and polyunsaturated fatty acids present in seed oil may be linked to diabetes and heart disease . If you are using more seed oil in cooking, then chronic inflammation can definitely occur. Due to this, the risk of cancer has been seen to be higher.
