Officials investigating the case said that the accused Chintu alias Vignesh had befriended the 17-year-old girl online about five months ago and married her on November 08. Later, he killed the girl the next day of the marriage by banging her head against the wall of her house and strangulating her with a sari. After the murder, with the help of his friend and his wife, he dumped the girl's body on a garbage heap in Tukkuguda. After disposing of the body, it was covered with waste paper.

Officials say that about a month ago Vignesh had expressed his love to the girl. The minor girl accepted it. It is being told that after this the man brought the girl home and sexually assaulted her. Later Vignesh warned her for talking to other people on the phone. After this the girl started threatening to marry the young man, disturbed by this threat, the young man planned to kill the girl. For this, first the young man married the girl on November 8 and Vignesh asked the minor to call her mother and tell her about the marriage. The girl did the same. At the same time, the girl also told her mother that they would come to her house.

After throwing the body the accused called the girl's mother

Police said that after the accused Vignesh killed the minor, he called the girl's mother and asked if her daughter was with them. After this, the girl's mother got suspicious and lodged a missing person's complaint at the Miyapur police station on November 10. Based on the girl's mother's complaint, the police registered a case of kidnapping and arrested Vignesh.

When questioned by the police, Vignesh confessed to the murder and told the whole story, after which the body was recovered and sent for post-mortem. After this, Vignesh's friend and his wife have been arrested. Police said in this case that a case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) and the POCSO Act for murder and tampering with evidence.
