MP Politics: There is a lot of politics going on over fertilizer in Madhya Pradesh. Congress is busy cornering the Mohan Yadav government. Now former Chief Minister Kamal Nath and Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar have launched a strong attack. They alleged that the government is busy in events and election campaigning instead of providing fertilizers to the farmers.

Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath wrote on Instagram, "The figures show that due to the negligence and short-sightedness of the government, the supply of fertilizers has decreased in proportion to the total demand. Farmers are not getting fertilizers in sufficient quantity. There is a huge crisis of fertilizers in the state of the Union Agriculture Minister and especially in his home district Sehore. In such a situation, the condition of the entire state and the country can be guessed. The slogan of the double engine government has been demolished. Now double wastage is continuing."

Congress's strong attack on fertilizer crisis

Kamal Nath said that the fertilizer crisis is the result of the government's negligence and the incomplete preparations of the agriculture department. He said that the fertilizer crisis is not a natural disaster. It is the government's responsibility to make timely arrangements for sufficient quantities of fertilizers and seeds to maintain the balance of demand and supply. He said that fertilizers and seeds are not the priority of the government which is busy spreading hatred and making people fight.

'Every citizen is angry with the government system'

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar wrote on Instagram, "Every citizen of the state is angry with the government arrangements. After DAP, there is now a shortage of urea. Farmers are forced to sit awake outside the societies. Sowing of Rabi crops has begun. The government is still in deep slumber." He said that the situation is not good in the entire state including Sehore, the home district of Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. The Agriculture Minister is not able to provide DAP to the farmers of his area. In such a situation, the condition of the rest of the districts can be understood.
