Let us tell you that this painful incident is from Kathal Wali Bagh area of Shastri Nagar in Kotwali Nagar police station area, where a person named Santosh Agrahari lives with his family by taking a room in a rented house. Late on Thursday evening, Santosh Agrahari shot his brother-in-law Ramesh Agrahari dead and fled. Actually Santosh's brother-in-law Ramesh lived in Delhi and he came to Sultanpur from Delhi on Thursday 28 November to attend a wedding at home. During this time he went to meet his brother-in-law Santosh at his house in Shastri Nagar, where there was some dispute between his sister and brother-in-law Santosh over some matter. In which the brother-in-law shot at the brother-in-law. He fled from the spot.
Accused arrested within 24 hours
Police Deputy Commissioner Prashant Singh informed the media late evening today that on 29 November (Thursday) in the Kathal Ki Bagh area of Police Station Kotwali Nagar District Sultanpur, Santosh Agrahari shot his brother-in-law Ramesh Agrahari dead after a dispute with his wife. After which a murder case was registered in Police Station Kotwali Nagar. Today on Saturday (29 November), a joint team of STF and Kotwali Nagar arrested him from the underpass near Ankit Petrol Pump. Licensed pistol, shell cartridges, mobile phone, magazine etc. used in the incident have been recovered from him. Necessary legal action is being taken.
