Moradabad. After almost 15 years, preparations for adjustment have started once again in council schools. The Basic Education Department has given instructions to complete this process by June 30. In such a situation, teachers will be removed from those primary schools of the district where there are less children and more teachers and sent to schools with more children. Regarding this, orders have been given to correct the details of teachers and children on the Manav Sampada portal on the basis of student number. So that teachers can be transferred from one school to another through the portal itself.

The ratio of teachers and students is not equal

There are 1401 council schools in the district. There are more than 50 such schools in rural areas where the ratio of teachers and children is not equal. As per the rules, it is mandatory to have one teacher for 30 children. In many schools, the number of children is 25 to 30 and the number of teachers is five to six, while there are many schools where the number of teachers is only two to three but the number of children there is 200 to 250.

Looking at this situation, the department is trying to improve this ratio. After a long time, the department is going to make adjustments. If the teacherless schools in the extended metropolitan limits are included in the city area and more teachers than the student number ratio are accommodated, then teachers will be available in all the single and teacherless schools in the city area.

BSA Ajit Kumar says that on the instructions of the Secretary of Basic Education, all the details of the teachers are being corrected on the Manav Sampada portal before adjustment. Efforts are being made to send teachers from schools where there are fewer children and more teachers to schools with more children. The adjustment process will be completed through the Manav Sampada portal by the stipulated time.
