Atiq Ahmed Case: Big news is coming out related to the murder of mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. The case was heard in the court of Judge BK Mishra of the Fast Track Court. The remaining statement of the first witness of the case, former police station in-charge Dhoomanganj Rajesh Maurya was recorded in the district court. Now the next hearing of this case will be on September 24. On September 24, the first witness of the case, former police station in-charge Dhoomanganj Rajesh Maurya will appear in the court for cross-examination.
The trial of the Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf murder case has started in the fast track court. The SIT had filed a chargesheet against the accused in the CJM court on 13 July 2023. The court has already framed charges against the three accused Lovelesh Tiwari, Arun Maurya and Sunny Singh. All three shooters are currently lodged in Chitrakoot jail. It is worth noting that Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf were shot dead on 15 April 2023 during police custody at Calvin Hospital. The police had caught all the three accused at the scene itself. DGC Criminal Gulab Chandra Agrahari gave information in this regard.
Police found out about another property of Atiq Ahmed
Meanwhile, Prayagraj police has come to know about another benami property of Atiq Ahmed. Atiq Ahmed had registered this property worth about eight crores in the name of the domestic help of his wife Shaista Parveen's friend. Prayagraj police is now preparing to confiscate this benami property. Permission has been sought from the Police Commissioner's Court to confiscate this property under Section 14 (1) of the Gangster Act. Police will confiscate it as soon as the court approves it.
