Avenue Supermarts (DMart) has released the business update for the second quarter of FY 2025 after the market closed on Thursday. The company has informed that the standalone income of the company has increased from Rs 12,307.72 crore year-on-year to Rs 14,050.32 crore. The company said that the total number of stores as on 30 September 2024 was 373.
Avenue Supermarts, which runs the retail chain DMart, reported a consolidated profit of Rs 773.8 crore in the first quarter of FY 2024-25, up 17.5 per cent from Rs 658.8 crore in the same period a year ago. During this period, the company's income from operations grew 18.6 per cent to Rs 14,069.1 crore as against Rs 11,865.4 crore a year ago.
Stock performance On Thursday, the company's stock closed 0.27 per cent down at Rs 4,941. The 52-week high of the stock is Rs 5,484.85 and in the last one year, the company's stock has seen a rise of 32.62 per cent.
