AAP On LPG Gas Cylinder Price Hike: The central government on Monday (7 April) gave a big blow of inflation to the common man. The Modi government increased the price of LPG gas cylinder by Rs 50. Since then the opposition has been attacking the BJP-led central government. Meanwhile, Punjab Finance Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Harpal Singh Cheema has targeted the Modi government.
Harpal Cheema said, “Ever since the BJP government has come to power in the country, the prices of gas cylinders and other household items are constantly increasing. The common people are suffering due to this inflation. The BJP is constantly taking such steps to benefit big corporate houses. It is putting the burden on the common people to benefit its special people. It has become very difficult for the common people of the country to live. Ask a woman how she is running the kitchen of the house.”
'Life of common people has become difficult'
He further said, you (Central Government) have made the gas cylinder costlier by 50 rupees, this means that you are also snatching food from people, how will people cook and eat food. There is already a lot of inflation in the country. Life of the common man has become very difficult. This will increase the burden further.
'BJP's friendship with corporate companies'
Cheema also said that BJP is friends with big corporate companies. Such companies are looting the country. He said that BJP first traps people in schemes and then increases the rates on them. BJP's government is a government of corporates, not a government of common people.
'Petrol-diesel prices will be affected'
Regarding petrol-diesel, Harpal Cheema said, BJP is lying that their government has not increased the prices of petrol-diesel. BJP has definitely increased its prices and it will have a direct impact on the pocket of the common man in some form or the other. Today the daily life of a common man has become very difficult. Common people are not able to eat a meal properly. BJP is now selling the common people to corporate houses.
