(Punjab Hindi News) Congress leader and candidate from Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency (Sangrur Lok Sabha Seat 2024) Sukhpal Singh Khaira said that if any non-Punjabi wants to live in Punjab, he is welcome but, if they (non-Punjabis) want to settle on a permanent basis, then they will have to fulfill the requirements of the Act to be made in Punjab on the lines of 'Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act 1972'.
We will destroy Punjabi culture by taking over Punjab- Khaira's statement
Khaira had said the other day that these people will take over Punjab and destroy Punjabi identity. Punjab belongs to Punjabis. Non-Punjabis, that is, people coming from other states, should not have the right to vote here. They should neither get jobs in Punjab nor should they be allowed to build houses.
Khaira also said at an election meeting in Khetla village of Didba on Saturday that the way people from Punjab are going abroad and people from other states are coming here, it is clear that in a few years there will be no place for turbaned people in Punjab.
Like Himachal, a law should be brought against non-Punjabis in Punjab too. I have given it in writing to the Assembly Speaker as well. Khaira said that p
