Farah Khan narrated an anecdote from 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar'

In an interview given to Radio Nasha, Farah Khan told how she got the opportunity to choreograph the song 'Pehla Nasha'. She told that the late choreographer Saroj Khan was supposed to choreograph this song. But by chance she got the opportunity to choreograph this song later.

This is how Farah got the chance for 'Pehla Nasha'

Farah said that Saroj Khan was about to shoot 'Pehla Nasha'. Then something happened and she had to go back to Mumbai (then Bombay) to shoot with Sridevi or Madhuri and we were in Ooty. She left and did not return. Farah said that she was choreographing some shows by then. She was called by director Mansoor Khan and asked to take over the work of that song. If the shooting had stopped, they would have lost money. 

'Pooja Bedi's skirt flew away'

The song Pehla Nasha was filmed on Aamir Khan, Ayesha Jhulka and Pooja Bedi . In one scene of this song, Pooja had to pose in Marilyn Monroe style. Farah choreographed the song. With her creativity, she added slow motion to the song and made it look like a dream.

Farah told that in one scene of the song, Pooja Bedi had to stand on a car and a staff member had to blow her skirt from below with the help of a fan. Farah could not stop laughing remembering what happened after this.

Farah laughed and said, 'It was my idea to shoot Pooja Bedi in Marilyn Monroe style. I told Pooja to lower her skirt when the fan was on. In the first shot, a spot boy was holding the fan. When the fan was on, Pooja did not lower her skirt. Seeing all this, the spot boy fainted. Then I saw for the first time what a thong looks like.''
