Vinesh Phogat: After Indian athletes Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia joined the Congress, a sharp reaction is being seen from the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP leaders are now saying that the Congress party is behind the wrestlers' movement. In this sequence, former UP Deputy CM and Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Sharma said that today people are pointing fingers. Congress has politicized sports, the public will answer this. 

On wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia joining the Congress, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma said, 'Today people are pointing fingers. People are saying that this is why the protest was done? Were Deepender Hooda and his father planning from behind to defame the Indian government? How to make sports a hub of politics.' 

BJP MP raised questions on Vinesh Phogat

He further said that 'Haryana which is known for sports, for respecting daughters, they have tried to politicize sports there. I think that the people of Haryana will answer this to Deepender Hooda.'

Earlier, former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had also raised questions on Vinesh Phogat joining the Congress. He called the wrestlers' agitation last year a complete conspiracy of the Congress and said that Deepender Hooda and his father former CM Bhupendra Hooda were behind it. He said that after Vinesh joined the Congress, the entire conspiracy was exposed. 

Let us tell you that after missing out on a medal in the Olympics, Vinesh Phogat had announced her retirement from wrestling. After which when she returned, she was given a grand welcome at the airport. Congress MP Deepender Hooda also reached the airport to welcome her. After which on Friday, Vinesh joined the Congress along with Bajrang Punia. Congress has given Vinesh a ticket from Julana seat of Haryana.
