Islamabad: Pakistan, which is battling inflation and terrorism, will host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit on October 15-16. However, Pakistan's biggest concern before the SCO meeting is the law and order situation in Karachi city.
Army will protect Karachi-Islamabad city
Murder and looting are common in the country's capital. To maintain law and order in Karachi during the SCO meeting, the Shahbaz government has decided that additional personnel from the Pakistan Army, Rangers, Frontier Corps (FC), and Punjab Police will be deployed on security duty during the summit. The army will guard government buildings in Karachi and the Red Zone in Islamabad.
Foreign Minister Jaishankar will attend the meeting
Let us tell you that there are eight member countries in the SCO. This time India is also going to participate in the SCO. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will attend the SCO summit to be held in Islamabad on 15 and 16 October. However, it is not known whether Foreign Minister Jaishankar will meet any Pakistani leader during the meeting.
