According to the information, the diamond that PM Modi gifted to Jill Biden is a 7.5 carat green diamond created in a laboratory. This diamond shows the chemical and optical properties of the diamond extracted from the earth. It is also environmentally friendly, as eco-diverse resources like solar and wind energy have been used in making it.

The diamond was kept in the East Wing of the White House

According to the ministry's document, this diamond gifted by PM Modi is kept in the East Wing of the White House. According to a report by news agency AP, this was the most expensive gift received by Jill Biden from foreign leaders in the year 2024.

In the year 2023, the Ukrainian Ambassador to the US gifted Joe Biden and his family a brooch and bracelet worth US$14,063. At the same time, the President and First Lady of Egypt gifted a brooch and photograph album worth US$4,510.
