Moscow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a three-day visit to Austria and Russia (PM Modi Russia Visit) from today . After finishing his visit to Russia, PM Modi will visit Austria from 9-10 July. Russia's statement has also come out before the PM's visit.

Both leaders will discuss global issues

The External Affairs Ministry said yesterday that the leaders will review the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and share views on contemporary regional and global issues of mutual interest.

The agenda for the talks will be broad 

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview to Russia's state-run VGTRK television channel on Saturday that Prime Minister Modi's programme in Moscow will be extensive and the two leaders will be able to hold informal talks.

The Kremlin said that the agenda is going to be quite broad. This will be an official visit and we hope that the two heads of state will be able to talk informally as well.
