Method of worship
On the day of Mauni Amavasya, wake up in the Brahma hour. At this time, first of all, meditate on Lord Vishnu. On the day of Mauni Amavasya, it is forbidden to speak until the puja is done. Therefore, observe a silent fast. After retiring from daily chores, take a bath in the Ganga if convenient. At this time, flow black sesame seeds in the flowing water.
If there is no convenience, take a bath with water mixed with Gangajal. Now sip water and wear yellow clothes. Now offer water to Lord Bhaskar. After this, face south and offer water to ancestors.
