Shankaracharya of Ayodhya reacts to Prashant Singh's resignation, says, 'This officer is flattering'

News Topical, Digital Desk : The GST Deputy Commissioner of Ayodhya has resigned in support of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Shankaracharya Shankaracharya called the GST Deputy Commissioner, who resigned in support of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a sycophant. Shankaracharya said that this officer is engaging in sycophancy. 

He demanded that this officer's resignation be accepted with immediate effect, otherwise we will consider this a dispute between them. Shankaracharya said that he did not speak ill of anyone, but also spoke about the UGC, calling its decision divisive.

Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati said that Ayodhya is a favorite place for this government. The official there has resigned, demonstrating devotion to the Swami. This resignation will not be accepted. This is a planned move. They may even try to suspend him, but it won't happen. This is a sham resignation.

He further stated that he made no indecent remarks. Whether hundreds of temples were demolished or not. You stood in front of us and had temples demolished. We made no indecent remarks, we simply stated the facts.

What did Shankaracharya say on the resignation controversy?

Regarding the resignation controversy, Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda further stated that the officers appointed there are the CM's favorites. This officer has demonstrated his devotion to the Swami and has shown that he is such a great devotee of CM Yogi, even if the monk is killed.  

This officer is flattering. Yogi Adityanath should immediately accept the resignation. This is just a sham resignation; nothing more will come of it. Yesterday, Alankar ji resigned, which is having a huge impact. Then they held a meeting to discuss how to resolve it. Then they got the officer from Ayodhya to resign. This is all a well-planned scheme.

It should be noted that Shankaracharya has been on strike since the Magh Mela controversy. Meanwhile, Bareilly City Magistrate Alankar Agnihotri resigned in support of him. Following this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath suspended him. Now, an Ayodhya official has resigned in support of CM Yogi. Shankaracharya has reacted to this, raising questions. He has also demanded that the official's resignation be accepted.
