Mathura.  Police has exposed the theft of Rs 1 crore from property dealer Mukesh Agarwal, resident of Kamla Nagar, Agra. Police arrested the school operator and his partner and recovered Rs 96.30 lakh. The police team was given a reward of Rs 25 thousand.

Farah resident property dealer Mukesh Agarwal currently lives in Kamla Nagar, Agra. He has a shopping complex in the main market of Farah. It has a few shops and a private school New Smart Bachpan Pre, which is run by Krishnakant Pachauri, resident of Garhi Pachauri. Mukesh Agarwal has kept an iron safe weighing five quintals in a shop in the complex. He had kept one crore rupees in this safe on May 28, the lock of which was broken and the money was stolen.

SSP Shailesh Kumar Pandey held a press conference on Monday. He examined the CCTV cameras installed nearby. Krishnakant Pachauri's role seemed suspicious in this, so he was questioned. He accepted the incident. He had called Leela alias Leeladhar, resident of Mohalla Shahi Sarai, Farah, to cut the safe. The safe was cut in five hours. He was given three lakh rupees for this. After taking out the money, he buried it in the ground.

On Monday, the police recovered Rs 92 lakh stolen money from two bags in Agra-Mathura Road Bhim Nagar on his information. SSP said, Rs 96.30 lakh and a scooty have been recovered from the two accused Krishnakant and Liladhar. A reward of Rs 25,000 was given to the police team.

I did a parikrama of Govardhan and then committed the crime

Inspector Farah Kamlesh Singh, who led the team that exposed the theft, said that Mukesh often asked Krishnakant, the thief, if the shutter outside the shop was locked properly. He had said that important documents were kept inside. This made Krishnakant suspicious. When he checked the CCTV footage, he saw that on May 28, Mukesh was taking something inside in a big bag. He suspected that there were five crore rupees in the safe. He asked his friends what should he do if there were five crore rupees. Friends said take it. Then he asked a priest of the town. He said that other people's money is worthless. Krishnakant was confused about this.

 

On 11th June, Krishnakant did parikrama of Girraj Maharaj. After this, on 12th, he broke the lock of the shop shutter with a grinder. When even after three days of continuous effort, he could not cut the safe, he brought Liladhar. He struck a deal for two lakh rupees.
