Abhishek Prakash was working as the Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Industry Department and Chief Executive Officer of 'Invest UP'.
It is being told that this action was taken against Abhishek Prakash due to the allegations of corruption and fake documents in the Lucknow Defense Expo land scam. This case is related to the land acquisition for the Defense Corridor in Bhatgaon, Sarojininagar, Lucknow. In this entire case, the matter of scam in the compensation process has come to light, after which this action was taken.
Abhishek Prakash is a 2006 batch IAS officer. He has worked as DM of many districts in the state. He has also been the DM of the capital Lucknow for a long time.
