Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's film 'L2 Empuraan' is making record-breaking earnings in its advance booking. According to the report of Sacnilk, a box office data keeping site, the film sold 628K tickets within 4 hours in the pre-sale that started on March 21.

No film has sold more than 350 thousand tickets in the first 24 hours of advance booking. 'L2 Empuraan' has earned Rs 12 crore in India with block seating, while worldwide it has crossed the figure of Rs 50 crore. It has become the first Malayalam film to do so.

 

When will L2 Empuran be released?

Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Malayalam film 'L2 Empuraan' is all set to release in theatres on Thursday, March 27. The action-thriller film is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Antony Perumbavoor and A Subaskaran have jointly produced the movie. The film is said to be the next installment of the first part titled Lucifer.

'L2 Empuraan' will feature Mohanlal in the lead role, while actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jerome Flynn, Eric Ebouani, Manju Warrier, Abhimanyu Singh and Suraj Venjaramoodu will also be seen playing important roles.
