Sanya Malhotra, popularly known as 'Dangal Girl', has released her film Mrs. This film has been a topic of discussion since its release. Audience and critics are praising Mrs. Meanwhile, the director of the film has broken her silence on the controversy.
Last day, Mrs. was caught in a controversy when the crew was not mentioned on the film's slate. Now director Arati Kadav has called it a mistake.
The director spoke on the controversy
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Aarti Kadav said, “It was a genuine mistake. There were so many players involved and it was a genuine mistake. There were 3-4 platforms collaborating on this. When I asked them, they said, 'This is a genuine mistake' and they fixed it immediately.”
Aarti Kadav further added, “I have a very good relationship with the crew. They have become like a family, as we have a very lively WhatsApp group. So we were discussing it and I am glad that the crew is getting their due credit. There are many new actors in my film. It was very important for them to see their names out there.”
Why was there a controversy over Mrs?
The trailer of Mrs. was released on 25 January 2025. On one hand people were praising the trailer, on the other hand a mistake created controversy. Actually, in the trailer of the film it was seen that the name of the technician was missing in the slate. Later the makers immediately rectified this mistake.
