It is alleged that former MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion reached the Khanpur MLA's office with his supporters and fired several rounds. It is being said that there was a war of words on social media between current MLA Umesh Sharma and former MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion. 

Former MLA Kunwar Champion, who fired bullets at MLA Umesh Kumar's house in Khanpur, has been taken into custody by Dehradun Police. After being taken into custody, he has been brought to Nehru Colony Police Station.


The video of this firing is also going viral in which it can be seen that the attackers riding in three vehicles opened indiscriminate fire at the office of Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar. The entire area echoed with this firing in broad daylight. Police teams are present in the entire area. Due to the firing, bullet marks are visible at many places at the house of MLA Umesh Kumar and the entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera.

It is being told that for the last two days, there was a heated exchange of words between MLA Umesh Kumar and Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion on social media, and this is the result of this controversy. The sound of gunfire terrified the people around and there was chaos on the road. As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy police force was deployed on the spot. Supporters of MLA Umesh Kumar also reached the spot, making the situation more tense. The police have started investigating the matter and the reason behind the incident is being ascertained. The administration has increased the strictness to maintain peace in the area.
